Segundo a Justiça, isso era feito para driblar os credores que tentam reaver dívidas em centenas de ações de execução.</p>

<p class="texto">O TJSP registra cerca de 1,1 mil ações contra a igreja, a maioria por cobrança de dívidas. Representantes da igreja afirmam que as dívidas decorreram do fechamento dos templos durante a pandemia e que os dízimos, única fonte de renda da igreja, são voluntários e seguem a liberalidade dos fiéis.</p>
<p class="texto">Em setembro deste ano, o templo do pastor foi a leilão para o pagamento de dívidas. O espaço de 46 mil m² foi avaliado em R$ 38,5 milhões, valor inicial dos lances.</p>
<p class="texto">A nova igreja (Mais que Vencedores) disse à Justiça que não pode ser responsabilizada por dívidas da Igreja Mundial do Poder de Deus porque ambas pertenceriam a grupos econômicos distintos, mas o TJSP não aceitou a argumentação. A decisão é do juiz Marcos Duque Gadelho Júnior.</p>

O TJSP registra cerca de 1,1 mil ações contra a igreja, a maioria por cobrança de dívidas. Representantes da igreja afirmam que as dívidas decorreram do fechamento dos templos durante a pandemia e que os dízimos, única fonte de renda da igreja, são voluntários e seguem a liberalidade dos fiéis.
Em setembro deste ano, o templo do pastor foi a leilão para o pagamento de dívidas. O espaço de 46 mil m² foi avaliado em R$ 38,5 milhões, valor inicial dos lances.
A nova igreja (Mais que Vencedores) disse à Justiça que não pode ser responsabilizada por dívidas da Igreja Mundial do Poder de Deus porque ambas pertenceriam a grupos econômicos distintos, mas o TJSP não aceitou a argumentação. A decisão é do juiz Marcos Duque Gadelho Júnior.
